WRA New Fieldhouse @ Whitpain Township, PA

Construction Completed: 2018

Size: 3,500 Square Feet

Services Provided: Architecture, Interior Design, MEP and Structural Engineering

Nayan Shah from Paradigm Architecture worked with the Whitpain Recreation Association (WRA) and Whitpain Township in Blue Bell, PA, especially the township’s Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments, to design a new WRA Fieldhouse to support athletes and fans at the new Center Square Park’s athletic fields. Nayan worked closely over several years with WRA’s Pat Foley who spearheaded the design and construction of the Fieldhouse. The new Fieldhouse was completed in spring of 2018 as a one-story building with a roof that overhangs all sides, creating a large, shaded patio in the front and smaller covered areas on each side where people can watch the games. Inside, the Fieldhouse offers a spacious multipurpose room for team meetings and other events, as well as WRA staff offices, restrooms and a concession area. Paradigm Architecture is proud to have been involved in this project that will be an asset to the local community for years to come.
